The new High Street home of Paper City Clothing Company is close to completion, and we are excited to invite our community to an Open House on Saturday October 19, 2024! Please stop by anytime between 10am-1pm. This event is in partnership with the City of Holyoke's city-wide tourism event Doors Open Holyoke so don't miss the opportunity to also visit other amazing architectural and historical treasures in downtown Holyoke! Two years ago, October 2022, we held the launch event of our crowdfunding campaign to begin restoring 144 High Street which had been vacant for years and suffered extensive damage including a caved in roof. So much has happened since then, and it has literally taken a village to restore this building! We are in the final stretch completing the finishes so the building is still an active construction site, but you can already see and feel how the space has come alive and can serve as a unique cultural hub for our community. Besides tours of the new space we will be informally gathering community input on needs and use options for the 3 commercial spaces. We are so excited to connect arout this, share photos of the process and shine a light on the heroines and heroes who made this project possible!
Later that same Saturday October 19, there are other amazing events like the Great Holyoke Brick Race and the Paper City Food Festival. We will have a booth at the food festival and would love to see you there too! Plan with your friends and families to come and stay for a Day in the Yoke!
